Well I finally got my letter today. I have an appointment for a Loop diathermy (LLETZ) in just over a weeks time. It doesnt give me any details on my grading, but does say its not cancer, so I guess that is a relief. So I’m still guessing a 3, maybe a 2.
I’ll have a little think about whether to go to my doctor about stronger pain killers/anxiety relievers etc.
Thanks for all your support ladies.
I stumbled across this site whilst trying to get some advice on the net about my relationship and thought it would be a good place to come for advice from time to time.
So I just thought I would say hello and see if you are happy enough to have a (very respectful) bloke posting and replying to some of the threads on here?

I’ve always had pets, including dogs, right from a kid until 3 years ago when we sold our house. At that point we didn’t know where we were going so made the difficult decision to rehome our 2 cats and sell my horses.
Anyway - time moves on and we’re now settled in a rented house, my job seems secure and discussing pets it seems that work would be fine with me bringing a dog to work with me, they’d even let me have space for a basket behind my desk. So the theory is, I could walk dog in the morning, go to work, dog could snooze till lunchtime and go out for a quick spin, back to work, then back home at 5 for another walk.
Does this seem like it might work or does it fill knowledgeable dog people with horror? Rehoming my pets broke my heart and I swore I’d never do that again, so I want to be absolutely sure I’m not making a big mistake before I give this any further thought.
Honest opinions please.
We went to the jewellers the Mr J got it from to enquire about wedding rings and the very unhelpful assistant (not the very helpful lady who originally helped Mr J make his ideas become reality) informed me I had bent the underside. I was mortified. :boohoo:
We then went to another jeweller, who we have since ordered our wedding rings from, he kindly re-shaped my E-ring.
I am now paranoid about it getting mis-shapen again and am checking it nearly hourly. Both stores have told me it can happen easily and its to be expected. And there was me thinking platinum would stand the test of time. :cmdunno:
Has anyone had this happen to them?
I am worried as I know Mr J spent heaps on the ring - not sure who was sweating more when the second jeweller had a look at my E ring - me incase he damaged it or Mr J incase he told him he’d been robbed (thankfully he assured me the stone is solidly set!)
Bit of background, we broke up last week, and i popped over to his tuesday night, (to collect some bits) and we spent the evening laughing and joking away, only noticable difference was the no ‘physical contact’. Anyhows…. i’ve heard from him on email daily,….just general chit chat, plans for weekend, etc.
Whilst it doesn’t pain me to talk to him, i’m just wondering if it is possible to stay friends and if its healthy…??? What do you guys think?
I wanted to go to the gym this evening but it’s not really a good idea…how long if good to wait before going back, do you reckon?
Years ago I got a card … from an unknown and for almost a year me, my mates, even my Mum pondered as to who on earth could have sent it … we never found out, but it was interesting to keep guessing!
So - as it’s this time of the year, I posted a card to a lucky chap .. who won’t have a clue who it’s from, but I KNOW
Anyone else do this?
